For the first time in Latvia, on June 14, we had the opportunity to spend an evening together with the chief winemaker of the Opus One winery, Michael Silacci. In the course of the evening, we enjoyed 5 different Opus One vintage wines together with a specially prepared four-course meal. Opus One Winery is located in Oakville, California, United States. The wine is special and its essence, Opus One, expresses the character and sophistication of each year's harvest.
The Arinzano Wine Evening was hosted by Arinzano Chief Winemaker José Manuel Rodriguez. Specially selected wines from the Spanish winery Arinzano were enjoyed, which complimented the four-course meal prepared for the evening by our chef, Raimonda Mickus. Together we traveled to the Navarre region of Spain through the wines of Propiedad de Arinzano, Spain's oldest wine estate.
